The Tattler called Capital Patrol to speak to Fred, the Manager, to find out if there was an incident report on last night’s call regarding the Larry sighting. He said that the dispatcher, Brennan gave me the wrong information regarding the shifts because he (Fred) had made a mistake on the scheduling. He said that someone from Capital was there about 8:05 pm. I mentioned that by then, it was too late and that I had purposely kept watching on the corner of Commons and Vanderbilt and did not see any Capital Car. He had a fast answer for that, saying the car was out of gas and that he went by bike or by foot (????). I asked if it wasn’t procedure to check a car out at the start of a shift to make sure it had a full tank? He could not answer. He then evaded the question saying that he could not get there from where he was. He kept changing his explanation, so I left it at that. Judge for yourselves!!

Fred from Capital Patrol just called me to say that if a person is caught trespassing, the thing to do is to call 911.
ReplyDeleteI went to Nepenthe management and together we called Frank of Capitol
ReplyDeletePatrol, about last night's Larry sighting and I suggest the Tattler
contact Frank, personally, to get a first hand account of the
misunderstanding.
I will tell you that Nepenthe management was very concerned about the
situation and requested the incident report be turned in by the end of
the day. I felt as though Nepenthe management truly cares about our
safety and that the fault falls on Capitol Patrol.
I think the name of Capital Patrol's manager is Fred and not Frank.
